Snap Inc. is taking another shot at smart glasses. The company just announced Specs, new AR glasses launching in 2026. Unlike the bulky Spectacles of the past, these new glasses will be smaller and lighter. They’ll also be packed with AR and AI features, including see-through lenses that overlay graphics on the real world, and an AI assistant that sees and hears what you do. Snap’s first try with Spectacles in 2016 didn’t catch on, but now it’s stepping back in just as Meta, Apple, and Google race to define the future of AR wearables.

The dollar hasn’t been this weak in 3 years. It hit its lowest point since March 2022, dropping over 9% since the start of the year, one of the sharpest falls in decades. Investors are seriously doubting the U.S. economy and America’s global role. Wall Street calls it the “Sell America” trade, fueled by confusion over trade policies and shaky leadership.
